Paneer Butter Masala

A rich, creamy tomato-based curry with soft paneer cubes, perfect with roti or naan.
Ingredients:
Paneer – 250 gm, cubed
Butter – 2 tbsp
Onion – 1 large, finely chopped
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Fresh cream – ¼ cup
Ginger-garlic powder/paste – 1/4tsp/1 tsp
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Sugar – ½ tsp
Fresh coriander – for ga ish
Method:
Heat butter, sauté onions until golden. Add ginger-garlic powder/paste and cook for 1 min.
Add tomato puree, red chili powder, salt, and sugar. Cook until oil separates.
Add paneer cubes and kasuri methi, mix gently. Cook for 5 mins on low flame.
Stir in fresh cream and garam masala, simmer for 2 minutes. Ga ish with coriander.
